Gone Are The Days!!

"Hey Buddy.. Wish You a happy birthday man...", there is a chorus erupting. The boy beems with smile and with a tinch of shyness says "Thank You." It was not about the singing, of the birthday song, but people getting reminded of the small kids birthday and decides to surprise him. Actions matter than planning it out.

Gone are those days.

When young, parents used to wish the kids and thats the maximum the child will look up to. Days come in and gradually friends come in the same scene. They throng the very same place and filled by our parents take us out forcibly and give us a bang at the back.

Gone are those days.

Comes the teens age where the wide telephone network will be switched on and the whole friends list would be waiting to call the bday guy and wish him a happy one. College days always a super cool among friends.

Gone are those days.

Enters the work life.  People have their priorities and friends who had bunking as the main responsibility seems to have lost direction in life and goes to attend work on time leaving a note or a message as a rarity. Queried over, " Hey bro how re u?.. Long time..."

Gone are those days.

Having a group of friends and enjoying cracking jokes and shouting becomes a distant cry. Boys turn men and they feel left out from the entire gang. The friendship so called splits. It becomes a once in a while catch up. But WORK catches up with them everyday.

Gone are those days.

ALAS above all right at the mid twenties where your friends have forgotten, you appear as a distinct object to everyone, a surprise comes.

GOOGLE reminders wishes you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

GONE ARE THE DAYS!!!......

Focus- Confusion Applenty

The present day folks irrespective of what generation they hail from stress on the point Focus. A vision in life is always the need at any time and at any instant for you to taste the dream word named Success.

I personally believe it all depends on what we limit to as success. Some people might be satisfied landing into a job and just taking care of their kith and kin. Some might aspire the level of becoming like one of their role models and never rest until it is achieved.

The list goes on and on and on..

But what surprises me people is the sacrifices one makes to reach that goal. When our focus dwells on achievements we loose our relations and when we have time for relations career is in for a toss. Where and when and how to give priority remains a queer statement waiting to be tested.

Is the topic appearing weird? Changes are always at the writer's will waiting to be enforced.

My dad used to tell me the importance of a vision. Work on a goal and then you should rest. Sadly all my visions have lasted for short times. I had a vision of becoming a Sachin at the age of ten. My coach went mad over my exhibition of cricketing skills, he quit the job immediately.

Focus and work- then you will achieve.

I tried my hands on basketball and given my height I was envied. Things took its shape and lack of people to drive ended the tenure. I tried my hands on Badminton, Table Tennis and many games. Then figured out to play sports there was something needed much more than focus. That was stamina.

Studies, no other go had to become my focus. Driven from entire peer pressure I managed to scrape through. Now placed in a company thinking, no more studies is required, comes the finalle.

I need to study loads to stay in this particular job. "Aww.... !!", where should the focus be?. Studies or job. At-least in school and College I had friends to give company. But here all is in for a toss. And they say, still stay focused, you can really scale heights.

And at the end I have entered the blogging world!! Oops!!.. What does this require to sustain, remain focused, and to achieve.

P.S- Confusions are aplenty regarding this writing. But still it was worth the try. Think on the title. Hope you will stay confused for at-least a moment.
