The Shopper

Hello folks. It has been a while since writing a post in my blog. This time I am with a topic, something general and an experience which I had in the recent days. Frankly there are two kinds of shoppers. One kind, is where people have abundant money and purchase. The other kind, don't have money but have a glance as to how much they need to earn to purchase the item.

I belong to the later category. This was the predefined notion with which I approached my first shopping stint, with enough bucks and having an eye on and only on discounts. The happening mall at the Chennai city, was my destination. All brands from Allen Solly to Arrows were on display with discount up to 50 percent. I smiled to myself thanking the heavens for such an offer in front of my eyes. "I am ruling the roost today", thought I.

"Sir, Actually the collections to your left has 50% discount the rest the market prices", replied the sales guy there. Bewildered I looked at the collection there and hardly ten pieces were available. My annoyance knew no bounds. The shopper's first stop was not up to the mark. "So what?", though the shopper, there are so many stores.

Some five stores had gone by, like this taking an hours time. Body cramps started taking its toll. "Look, I know your sales manager of this particular store and he told there is an exclusive discount for me. Kindly check and tell me how much discount can you provide. I am your VVIP customer", A guy was arguing with the shopper, giving an expression of utter belief. I thought it as a technique and had an idea to try it in another store.

Choosing an item, having a 40% off and trying to push it to 50%, I signaled a sales guy and remembering the method, " Is there only 40 % discount can you push it to 50%. I know the sales head of your store". "Sir I am the sales head of the store!". Then I happened to check out the name of the store and replied " Sorry, wrong store, anyways nice meeting you." I managed to escape the scenario. Phew!!

Three hours have passed and I managed to buy couple of shirts and a pant managing a discount overall. I managed to smirk, "dude you have got something now head home", and off I flew to show my mom and dad the collection.

"You already have one of those, Why did you buy the same color. A very worst shopper you are. Next time take someone else for shopping, else you will waste money".

Five hours of effort, yielded me this opinion. I concluded, Shopper's how do you manage Shopping!!
